A life coach is someone who aims to help and empower others to make, meet and exceed personal and professional goals. This can include excelling in the workplace, becoming happy and fulfilled at home, exploring your potential and achieving ambitions. One difference between counselling and life coaching is that counselling can investigate the underlying causes of mental health problems. Life coaching focuses more so on the future to encourage personal-development and self-improvement. Life coaches are not (unless specified) qualified to diagnose or treat any health-related problems, although if the situation arises they may suggest you see a GP.
Our coaches come from varied backgrounds and have varied specialties. One thing they all share, however, is a passion for partnering with people looking to take their next steps. Whether you’re wanting to explore your options as you ponder the distant future or simply trying to determine the best next steps on your path, our coaches will work collaboratively with you to design your road map.
